Nollywood actress, Kemi Afolabi is celebrating her daughter, Oluwadarasimi as she turns 13 today.
In a lengthy post on her Instagram page, she described her only child as a special child because God allowed her mother to still be with her.
She credited her daughter for being her source of strength, noting that she would have given up on life if not for her daughter.
Watching her daughter grow from a toddler to an incredible, amazing, beautiful teenager has been the greatest privilege of my life.

Happy birthday to my dearest daughter, Morenikeji Mi. Today I celebrate the Grace of God in you and I lives! You’re a special child because God knows your mother to still be here with you to do what ONLY mothers could ever do for her child even when it’s not convenient.
Oluwatamilore, you’ve been a source of strength to me at every point in time I wanted to give up on life! Thank you for the joy you bring into my world.

Days back, Kemi Afolabi had made beautiful promises to her daughter, Darasimi as she counted down to her day.
Kemi Afolabi shared a video with her daughter expressing her heart’s fondest desires. The actress wished for countless memories and moments of joy and adventures.

She had also reflected on her daughter’s birthday, while emotionally counting down to her.
She narrated how she had her daughter at the age of thirty, despite her doubts about having a baby.
Kemi Afolabi noted that her 12 years old daughter is the one thing she got right and she is a dream come true for her.
